Founded in 2021, Slovenia Law Business & Residence began with a single legal expert, Tadej Možina, and a simple observation: foreign clients in Slovenia rarely fail because the law is against them. They fail for two reasons. First, because no one takes the time to truly understand them — their circumstances, their motivations, what they are actually trying to build, and what they cannot afford to lose. A permit is filed, but the plan behind it is never asked about. Second, because no one is looking at the whole picture — one adviser handles the permit, another the company, a third the tax number, and no one is watching the deadline that connects them. We built Slovenia Law Business & Residence to be the party that does both: that listens first, and then sees the entire file. Today, what began as a one-person practice is a comprehensive legal and business consulting firm: a core team of more than 5 in-house consultants, supported by a network of over 30 external licensed professionals — attorneys, notaries, court interpreters, and tax advisors — serving clients from more than 25 countries across every continent. Much has grown since 2021: the size of our team, the range of our work, the places our clients call home. What has not changed is that most of those clients are still with us.
